We typically try to have refills processed in 24-48 hours after receiving them, but circumstances beyond our control may require more time. Please contact us if there are any concerns you may have regarding a refill request.

The Medicine Shoppe does not bill insurance for compounded prescriptions, however most insurance companies will reimburse you for compounded prescriptions. You can also use your HSA (Health Savings Account) to pay for your compounded prescriptions.

We have found the amount you pay for a compounded formula will often cost less than your typical prescription co-pay.
